First Day - Wednesday 14

Yesterday was my first Theater class after dropping Physics. Although it was a short period of 45 minutes, it was really fun and I learned some things that could help me write my monologue. I think everyone is writing their monologue from a point of view of someone whose human rights are being affected, or defending someone or a group of people who's human rights have been violated, but I want to give it a twist. I would like to write my monologue with the point of view of someone who is going against someone's human rights. Like for example from the point of view of a violent psychopath, like Hannibal Lecter. It might be frowned upon by some people, but I think it would be really interesting to let others enter the mind of someone who isn't guided by the usual social norms. Ms. Morrison told me to choose someone other than Hannibal because everyone already knows him, so I've been doing some research on other violent psychopaths. Maybe I'll chose a woman psychopath because it would be something different from what everyone thinks when they think of a psychopath, since they usually think of male serial killers.

Also, Fiorella offered to take me into her group for the Lysistrata skit. She sent me the lines and we chose our characters. I got the role of Lysistrata, which is a fun character. We are debating wether to film it or act it out in class. I would rather film it, because we can add many other things to it that we would not be able to do if we do it in class. We still need to hear from Antonio and Sebastian to make the final decision.
